Tucson, AZ, December 11, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- To promote handmade holiday gifts from their members this season, ArtFire is holding a Twitter Contest for the next 12 days (excluding weekends) leading up to December 24th. To enter the 12 Days of Tweetmas Contest, all Twitter users need to do is share their favorite ArtFire item under $50 including the #Tweetmas hash tag. One winner will be selected daily and awarded their Tweetmas item as a special gift from ArtFire.
Since a new winner is chosen every day, this allows ArtFire to award gifts to different users each day and all members to have an equal chance of winning. Members are welcome to tweet their favorite items as many times as they wish to increase their chances for winning. Winners will be chosen randomly once every 24 hours until Christmas Eve.
“This contest allows us to share the gift of artisan-made this holiday season while showcasing so many wonderful artisan pieces,” said John Jacobs, CEO of ArtFire.com. “This is the first time we’ve run a contest such as this, and already it appears to be spreading the idea of handmade shopping successfully.”
