Hwuason Expands After a Year of Growth

Hwuason Lawyers, China's first specialist tax law firm, opens a new office in Tianjin taking advantage of a year of strong growth. The firm has built up a strong Tianjin based client base over the past 12 months.

Beijing, China, December 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Hwuason Lawyers, China’s first specialist tax law firm, opened a new office in Tianjin on 16 December 2009. The opening of the Tianjin office follows a year rapid growth by the small Chinese tax boutique following on from the radical changes to China’s tax regime. Hwuason has been fortunate to take advantage of its unique position as a specialist tax practice. The opening of Tianjin office is a logical move for the Beijing based Hwuason as it has placed a considerable investment in Tianjin over the past 12 months.

Hwuason’s Managing Partner, Liu Tianyong, commented that he identified Tianjin “as a potential growth area for the firm” around 18 months ago. For this reason Liu has regularly travelled to Tianjin to provide seminars on various aspects of China’s developing tax system. These seminars were very “well received” and the firm has done a lot of work for Tianjin based clients over the past 6 months necessitating the establishment of a permanent presence there.
