PC No Evil Brings DVD Censoring to the PC

A recently-launched website offers DVD movie viewers the ability to watch their favorite movies without all of the objectionable content.

Houston, TX, December 20, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Thanks to the recently-launched website PCNoEvil.com, DVD movies played on your PC or laptop can now be made more family-friendly. The website offers third-party "movie remix" files for ninety-nine cents each which can be loaded into Cyberlink's popular PowerDVD software to censor objectionable content in popular DVD releases. During playback, objectionable language is muted or skipped and nudity and other objectionable content is either covered with black graphics or skipped.

Clearplay, a Utah-based company, has offered DVD players with similar technology for several years now, but their product is not currently available for computers.

Right now the PC No Evil catalog consists mostly of remixes for new and recent releases, but users are invited to submit requests for remixes of other movies.
