Edinburgh, United Kingdom, December 28, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- The Rising of the Phoenix workshop is especially for participants who have been ill, have burnt out or who are suffering from chronic stress. It is a full day workshop designed to help people understand what their bodies need to restore themselves to full health and then to be as fit and fabulous as they can be. Participants will use an R-Y Body Map to develop a healing Restorative Yoga flow that is exactly right for each individual. They will practice their own flow so that they can use this at home themselves or in a studio. Restorative Yoga is safe, very gentle and deeply healing as it helps your body to move from a state of fight or flight into a state of calm and peace. It brings about a balanced state where the body can heal itself. There is never any pain or strain in Restorative Yoga and people enjoy a deep sense of well being through this practice.
Restorative Yoga leader Elizabeth, who is a qualified Advanced Yoga teacher, international trainer on mental health and an expert on holistic health for the over fifties says, “Restorative Yoga is a new approach to health and healing using the age old wisdom of the yogis but with a modern understanding of the impact it has on the body. Anyone who wants to regain, renew, refresh and recharge themselves after being burnt out, or who thinks they may be approaching that state, will find it a wonderful gift for their own self healing regime.”
It will be held at The Gilles Centre, 100 Strathearn Road, Edinburgh. It will be run from 9.30am – 3.30pm. Cost £35pp.
