NAWBO SD Supports Operation: December to Remember

NAWBO San Diego provided a donation to Optimal Nutrition to support Operation: December to Remember. As a result, a struggling military family will receive an all-organic holiday dinner for eight.

San Diego, CA, December 25, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) San Diego, which promotes, supports and educates women business owners in achieving success, announced today that it has made a donation to Operation: December to Remember, sponsoring a deserving military family that otherwise might not be able to afford a holiday dinner. Both individual members and the chapter contributed to the fund-raising effort.

The operation was orchestrated by Optimal Nutrition, owned by NAWBO member Michelle Weinstein, which specializes in providing customized organic meals to customers. Its goal is to provide all-organic holiday dinners serving eight to 50 struggling military families, many of whom have recently had loved ones deployed overseas.
