Carlsbad, CA, December 30, 2009 --(PR.com
)-- True to its mission of supporting the local community, Xtreme Frozen Yogurt (XFY), is giving away free frozen yogurt to the communities of Murrieta and Carlsbad to celebrate their generosity in supporting the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation this holiday season. Known for its high-quality frozen yogurt and toppings products, cleanliness, community involvement and xtreme sports athletes, this isn’t the first time the yogurt shop has stepped up to give back. Throughout all seasons, Xtreme Frozen Yogurt shops donate five percent of net proceeds to the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.
From November16 – December 18, XFY challenged its customers to donate 150 toys at each store. The Murrieta and Carlsbad locations both exceeded that goal with a total of 368 toys donated. The neighborhood frozen yogurt shop will host the free frozen yogurt event on January 16 from 12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in Murrieta and on January 18 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. in Carlsbad.
