First Time Home Buying 2.0 Class for San Mateo Buyers

Workshop for San Mateo’s first time home buyers will reveal how to avoid the 12 most costly home buying mistakes and low down payment loan programs.

San Mateo, CA, January 02, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The RayChel Realty Group announced today that they will be hosting First Time Home Buying 2.0 a class for first time home buyers in San Mateo County in January.

“San Mateo County home buyers are some of the most sophisticated and savvy home buyers in the Country. To accommodate this shrewd group of home buyers, we’ve put together a 2.0 version of our home buying class. First Time Home Buying 2.0 gives San Mateo County home buyers an action plan to get a great deal on San Mateo real estate, as well as reveals the 12 most costly home buying mistakes even smart buyers make and how to avoid them” says Raymond Stoklosa, owner and Managing Broker of The RayChel Realty Group and workshop co-host.

“With the $8,000 home buyer tax credit extended until June 2010 and interest rates creeping up, first time home buyers have a window of opportunity to purchase San Mateo real estate at some of the most affordable levels in decades,” says Chris Williamson, a mortgage broker with Mortgage California in San Mateo and workshop co-host, “the historically low 4-5% interest rates are already climbing and experts predict we will be at 7 or 8% by the end of 2010. Our class will present financing strategies for first time home buyers to take advantage of this narrow window of opportunity.”

The program will focus on avoiding the 12 most costly mistakes even smart home buyers make and will present several low down payment loan programs that are currently available.

Topics will include:

12 costly mistakes even smart home buyers make and how to avoid them
Low down payment loan programs available for San Mateo home buyers
An action plan for successful home buying
How to participate in the first time home buyer tax credit program
What properties not to buy

First Time Home Buying 2.0 will take place on Tuesday, January 19th from 7pm to 9pm at 1700 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo. Registration is free, but space is limited so sign ups are required. To sign up, please visit http://budurl.com/HomeBuyerClass or call (650) 655-2500.
