)-- Geary Company, a leading independent Las Vegas advertising agency, announces John Dalrymple is joining the company as president and chief operating officer. Dalrymple previously operated Dalrymple & Associates, a consulting firm specializing in sales, marketing, advertising and success strategies. This move will merge the two companies.

Dalrymple formed Dalrymple & Associates in early 2008, working with clients in the automotive, banking, mobile advertising, law and fitness industries. Dalrymple & Associates provides his clients strategies for leadership and management, strategic planning and competitive analysis in addition to motivation, sales, marketing and advertising strategies.
“The Geary Company already felt like a family to me,” said Dalrymple. “Jim McKusick and I have been friends for more than 15 years. When we started talking about merging our two businesses, I knew it would be a great opportunity for both of us.”

Prior to starting Dalrymple and Associates, Dalrymple served as vice- president and general manager of Cox Media Las Vegas. During his time at Cox, he was responsible for doubling the company’s cash flow in less than five years and leading his team to the number one position in market share.
Dalrymple holds an MBA from the University of Washington with a concentration in strategic planning and marketing. He received his undergraduate degree in communications from Brigham Young University.
The Geary Company was founded in 1969 when outdoor advertising executive and San Francisco Ad Agency Executive Richard Geary met Colonel Tom Parker, trusted friend and manager of Elvis Presley. The Colonel immediately took a liking to Geary and recommended he open his own advertising agency, with The King Of Rock & Roll as his first client.
In 1990 brothers Jim McKusick and Mike Geary took over the Geary Company.
