Prize-Winning Application Built on Twalky Platform Announced at Consumer Electronics Show (CES)

New York, NY, March 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- inQbaby announced that its team won second prize (US$5,000) for the Innovation Movement "Apps for Innovation" contest arranged by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the organizers of the prestigious International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Judged by a panel of internet and innovation experts, the contest was launched on 7th October 2009 (its first annual contest) and the winners was announced at the 2010 CES.

The Innovation Movement Network was built on top of the Twalky platform (http://www.twalky.com) and contains 3 networks 1. Ideas/Issues 2. Events and 3. City Rankings. "Although the Twalky Platform was develop by a team of techies, the Innovation Movement Network itself was built by one non-tech person in less than a day. This clearly proves that anyone can have the potential to build prize-winning applications using the Twalky platform, especially when we make it available to everybody within the next few weeks" said Mr David So, Founder/CEO of inQbaby and Chief Twalker.

By using the Twalky platform, your social network becomes a platform as developers and non-developers can build apps based on the content of your network. "Once available, anyone can build applications based on the Innovation Movement Network and others can build apps on top of your network, thus creating an ecosystem of innovation apps. Already we have integrated the events social network of the Innovation Movement Network to the TwalkyEvents iphone app" Mr David So added.

About Innovation Movement Network
The Innovation Movement Network is built on Twalky platform and contains 3 networks: 1. Ideas/Issues 2. Events and 3. City Rankings. Each of these sections can be commented, rated (up to 5 stars) and ranked (between the comments) by anyone. It has a social element where each member/user can see the comments of all her friends/follows in each tab for each network. Furthermore, the app can become a platform as it is fully customizable (e.g. UI, functionality and URL) and anyone can build apps on top of this app.

The app uses crowdsourcing of comments (qualitative) and ratings (qualitative) to illustrate how innovation and entrepreneurial activity are at work across America. Under “City Rankings”, it has innovation rankings between US cities and also ratings of each city’’s innovations. Similarly, under the “Events” network, it highlights the cities that are active in entrepreneurial activity.

In addition, the ‘Ideas for the Issues’ network allow anyone to provide suggestions (that can be rated and ranked by anyone) that help resolve each of these issues. These ideas can help the members of the Innovation Movement advance policy goals that support innovation.
