Manhattan, NY, January 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- In honor of National Marriage Week, author Jenna D. Barry will donate 50% of the profits of book sales through her website to benefit earthquake victims in Haiti. Married couples struggling with in-law problems are encouraged to purchase "A Wife's Guide to In-laws: How to Gain Your Husband's Loyalty Without Killing His Parents" between February 7th through 14th at www.WifeGuide.org.

"I loved this book. It offers really useful advice for wives on how to handle the most difficult of in-laws – and it's delivered in an edgy, entertaining way. From a therapist’s perspective, I liked how the author described specific frustrating scenarios that commonly occur for wives - and how to set boundaries. And what a nice idea to include two chapters for husbands to help them understand what's going on between their parents and their wives."
–Lisa Brookes Kift, MFT and Author of “The Marriage Refresher Course Workbook for Couples” and “The Premarital Counseling Workbook for Couples”

"I'm confident that "A Wife's Guide to In-laws" was written just for me. I am so glad I'm not all alone in the issues I have been dealing with and can't wait to fix them."
--Cara, Wife/Daughter-in-law

Planting Peace, a nonprofit organization founded in 2004 by Aaron Jackson and John Dieubon, operates four orphanages in Haiti. "Fortunately all of the children survived the earthquake," says Jackson, "however, two of the four homes sustained damage and the stability of these structures is questionable. We are currently trying to locate and secure shelter for families and children made homeless and/or parentless by this tragic event."

Author Jenna D. Barry says, "I read an article about Aaron Jackson a couple of years ago that explained how -- when faced with financial difficulties-- he chose to give up his apartment and live in a homeless shelter so he could continue to run his orphanage in Haiti. By providing a safe home for the children, he protects them from being sold into the sex trade industry. Aaron has a heart of gold, and the world is a much brighter place because of him."
