Making a Difference in March; A Special Thanks

Special thanks to members of the police force, fire fighters, clergy, schoolteachers, and social service workers. Through out March members of these five professions will receive a discount and a special gift when they stop in at Global Hand Made Hope.

Park Ridge, IL, January 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Global Handmade Hope, a fair trade store, located in Park Ridge, IL has adopted the phrase “Making a difference in March”. Store owner, Cynthia Glensgard, would like to thank the local service people in her community and surrounding areas. Discounts and gifts will be given in March simply for the fact that people have chosen to make a difference in the world every day.

The store is dedicating the whole month of March to the police force, fire fighters, clergy, school teachers, and social service workers. There are five weeks in March so Glensgard has chosen five professions that offer their services to the public in an effort to make the world a better place. Any time during the month of March a member of one of these professions simply needs
to provide identification and they will receive a 10% discount and an Eleanor Reily organic handmade thank you soap courtesy of Eleanor.

Glensgard plans to continue giving thanks to people that make a difference all throughout the year. So, be sure to keep an eye on Global Handmade Hope at www.globalhandmadehope.com to see if your profession has been chosen in future months.

Glensgard is hoping that other retailers, restaurants, hotels, etc. will join her in this gesture of giving thanks to people that make a difference everyday. If you would be interested in partnering with Global Handmade Hope in this gesture and others you can send Glensgard an email from the store web page. Based on the feedback Glensgard receives she will work to create some specific advertising campaigns that offer a word of “thanks for making a difference”.

The Global Handmade Hope store motto is “together we can make a difference”. The discounts and gifts show that this motto is one that the store is definitely standing by.
