The Thecus N7700PRO "S3" Store, Share, and Secure extended configuration for 2010 is now available exclusively from eAegis, and runs through to March 31, 2010.

The extended configuration allows for two Thecus N7700PRO 14TB units to be coupled together for local or remote replication. The Thecus N7700PRO 7 bay Network Attached Storage devices are a first major upgrade for the N7700 aside from the N7700SAS option that was released recently.
The Thecus n7700PRO combines the DUAL DOM technology and is 10GbE Ready, just install a card in the PCI-e slot and the bandwidth expands. The N7700PRO is packed with other features which when combined together have culminated in a unit that leverages both value for money and top notch performance within a single product.
The N7700PRO is offered as diskless and pre-installed with drives in numerous configurations ranging from 2TB right up to 14TB. All pre-installed units are meticulously configured and tested using our popular award winning 48hrs burn testing procedure. This service is further enhanced by eAegis offering customers a custom configuration option for selecting choice of RAID to leverage a turn-key ready to use out of the box service.
The Thecus N7700 PRO is designed and manufactured using the Intel® Core 2 Duo Technology, coupled with 4GB DDR2 SDRAM and a PCI-e slot that will allow for 10GbE optional card installation allowing the unit to move into overdrive and increase performance. Coupled with this Thecus provides continuity in cases of firmware corruption or operating system failure with a Dual-DOM design, an extra DOM that is installed to allow the unit to continue working if one of the DOM's fail the other takes over. Aside, from these major unique features, the unit sports a fine host of features that will appeal to both small to medium size businesses as well as Enterprise.
