Anderson Valley Brewing Company ("AVBC") Announces the Release of Its Anniversary Imperial IPA

Boonville, CA, February 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Originally created to celebrate the brewery’s 20th anniversary in 2007, this limited release, special brew, with its intense and complex flavors, is the proud result of decades of great beer-making, and comes in bottles printed with a unique, colorful sunrise label. This 8.7% ABV, extremely hopped beer has been a cult favorite for those with extreme tastes, yet more balanced sensibilities. AVBC Director of Brewing Operations, David Gatlin says “This Imperial IPA is balanced and possesses a high degree of drinkability. Possibly too high." The Anniversary Imperial IPA will be available for very limited release February 1, 2010 in 22oz. bottles and draft. It is the beer that the late William Brand declared “Damn, it was a mind blower. The kind of beer that made California craft beer famous.”

Anderson Valley Brewing Company is located in Boonville, CA, in scenic Mendocino County. AVBC opened the doors to its brew pub in late 1987. They carefully craft their world-class ales using only the finest ingredients premium malted and roasted grains, hops, yeast, and pristine Boonville water straight from their own aquifer.
