Stay Safe This Super Bowl Sunday with Discount Cab

Arizona-based Cab Company Offering Free Cab Rides

Phoenix, AZ, February 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Discount Cab wants football fans to have a game plan this Super Bowl Sunday so it’s offering to help keep Valley streets safe from drunk drivers with its “Free Ride Back” program.

“Free Ride Back” aims at keeping inebriated drivers off the Valley’s streets and is offered year round by the cab company. Simply reserve a Discount Cab taxi when you’re out on the town and feel you’ve had too much to drink and the company will drive you back to your car the next day free of charge.

“We want everyone to enjoy themselves this weekend without causing unnecessary harm to themselves or someone else,” said Craig Hughes, CEO of Total Transit, Inc., which owns Discount Cab. “That’s why for the past five years we’ve offered this free service to Valley residents. If we can help keep the streets safer, we’re more than willing to help.”

Football fans who want to take advantage of the program can call 602-200-2000. The offer applies to patrons at any local bar or restaurant.

“Everyone wants to have a good time on game day,” Hughes said. “But having a good time shouldn’t include someone getting hurt.”

Now in its 26th year of operation, Discount Cab is one of the largest cab companies in the southwest, operating more than 500 cabs throughout Phoenix and Tucson. For more information on Discount Cab, please visit www.discountcab.com. Find Discount Cab on Twitter at twitter.com/discount_cab.
