Lavin Lacrosse Teams Up with Homegrown Lacrosse to Give Back

Minnepolis, MN, February 09, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Lavin Lacrosse (Rosemount, MN) has teamed up with Homegrown Lacrosse (Minneapolis, MN) during the month of February where 5% of all in-store sales at Lavin Lacrosse will go directly to the Homegrown Lacrosse P.E. Fund which provides in-school instruction to physical education teachers when teaching the sport of lacrosse.

Homegrown Lacrosse currently works with several school districts in Minnesota helping implement and introduce students to the sport of lacrosse. This program has allowed hundreds of students the chance to try the sport of lacrosse who may have otherwise never had the opportunity.

Lavin Lacrosse, who also works closely with Homegrown Lacrosse during their Fall, Spring, and Summer clinics and tournaments was willing to donate 5% of their in-store February sales to support such a cause. "Homegrown Lacrosse has shown they are dedicated to spreading the game of lacrosse that all of us love so much" Lavin Lacrosse owner Jesse Schelitzche stated. "Lavin Lacrosse and Homegrown share the same goals, to get as many athletes playing lacrosse in the state of Minnesota and enjoying the sport all of us came to love" Schelitzche added.

Lavin Lacrosse is a specialty lacrosse retailer in Rosemont, Minnesota opening in 2007. Homegrown Lacrosse is a non-profit organization focusing on increasing the number of lacrosse players, both boys and girls, in the state of Minnesota through in school phyed lessons, camps, and leagues.
