Dr. Gregg Berkowitz, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI) of Freehold and Monroe townships, presented a free, educational seminar for residents of Monmouth and Middlesex Counties titled “Should You Wear That Knee Brace? Sports Injury Prevention” to discuss whether common strategies, such as stretching and the use of a brace, prevent injury during sports according to recent evidence. A question and answer period followed.
