Where is Your Company on the Social Media Adoption Continuum?

Kingston, NJ, February 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Digital Brand Expressions, LLC (DBE) announced today the fielding of a new survey designed to assess where companies are on the enterprise-wide social media adoption continuum.

“With so many companies being embarrassed by their initial forays into the social space, numerous companies prohibiting access to social media sites during business hours, and 69% of businesses indicating they don’t have formal social media policies in place, we think it will be interesting to see the activities companies and their employees are engaged in the absence of formal guidelines,” said Veronica Fielding, CEO of Digital Brand Expressions.

The survey is short, taking less than five minutes to complete and is similar in structure to the widely reported survey DBE fielded in March of 2009 asking how companies were using social media for recruitment.

The survey asks respondents to identify their company size and to indicate in which types of social media activities the firm and its employees are involved.

As with the results of the social media and recruitment survey of 2009, the results of this survey will be made available to those taking the survey before the results are announced to the public.
