)-- So what’s new? By age 65, fifty percent of all individuals will have some form of arthritis. New Jersey residents with arthritis in their knees were able to learn more about their options at a free seminar given by Dr. Alan Nasar, a board-certified fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI), Freehold and Monroe townships, on Thursday, November 12, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Renaissance Crossing Medical Arts Building, 312 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township, N.J. In his seminar “Advances in Knee Replacements,” Dr. Nasar, who also holds a degree in mechanical engineering with specialties in biometrics and biomechanics, discussed the female knee, cementless technology, and other exciting developments in joint replacement technology. A question and answer session followed.
