On Monday March 8, IVS 3D will be presenting at two seminars:
- Moe Doucet (Chief Systems Architect) will be presenting at the R2Sonic Seminar. His presentation will cover the research and development of mid-water tools for 4D marine data fusion and analysis, undertaken with the Center for Coastal & Ocean Mapping, UNH. The seminar is at the Club Quarters at Trafalgar Square.
- Lindsay Gee (General Manager) is presenting at the RESON SeaBat User Group seminar with Mike Mutschler of RESON. Their presentation is about the acquisition, processing and visualization of multibeam sonar water column data. The seminar is at the Hilton London Canary Wharf Hotel. Online registration is available.
On Thursday March 11, Dr. Douglas Bergersen (Asia-Pacific Regional Director) will present at the Hydrography/Geophysics Seminar of the OI Conference. His presentation will focus on current development with ESRI, and the integration of Fledermaus and ArcGIS. He will discuss the implications for habitat mapping and other offshore sectors such as the oil and gas industry. More information on the presentation is available on the Oceanology International website.
Interactive Visualization Systems' (IVS3D) was founded in 1995 as the developer of the Fledermaus 3D visualization and analysis software suite. Government, commercial and academic clients in all areas of ocean mapping use the software internationally.
The Fledermaus software stands apart in providing scientists and engineers with interactive and intuitive tools for processing, quality control and analysis of multibeam sonar and related data. Its use significantly improves efficiencies in areas such as; nautical charting, geologic interpretation, the assessment of seabed habitats, planning routes for pipelines and cables, and the identification of geohazards during engineering development.
