Call Control for Blackberry Promises to Curb Unwanted Calls

New App Preloaded and Continuously Updated with Thousands of Spam Numbers, Allows Users to Report Spam Callers, Block Unwanted Calls, and Indentify Unknown Callers.

Seattle, WA, February 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Kedlin Company, based out of Seattle, Wash announced today the launch of Call Control for Blackberry® smart phones. Call Control can be downloaded at http://www.everycall.us/m/ and is also available for download through popular application portals such as Blackberry App World. Call Control was recently voted Best Save Time App by the Verizon Wireless development community.

Call Control is the first application for Blackberry that effectively eliminates unwanted telephone calls by synchronizing with a user-generated Community Blacklist of spam callers. Call Control comes preloaded with thousands of telemarketers, bill collectors, and other spam callers and calls flagged as spam are disconnected automatically.

Call Control users can also report unwanted calls to EveryCall.us directly from their Blackberry smartphones, which will help prevent future calls to other users.

“We started EveryCall.us two years ago and the volume of complaints about unwanted calls is incredible, most of the time these complaints come from people who are registered on the Do-Not-Call list,” said Ben Sharpe, founder and CEO of the Kedlin Company. “Call Control combines community generated call reports with an easy to use Blackberry application. With Call Control installed on your Blackberry, you control who calls you and who doesn’t.”
