SNOMED CT Browsing Comes to the iPhone

Brighton, United Kingdom, February 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Brighton-based tech company Dataline Software is proud to announce the world's first SNOMED App for the iPhone.

This new application - called Snomobile - will be available on App Store from Friday 26th February.

Snomobile is a fast and intuitive SNOMED CT browser - and is the result of an ongoing research project being carried out by Dataline Software. It can be used on both Apple’s iPhone and iPod touch, helping healthcare organisations worldwide realise the power of SNOMED CT coding on the world’s most loved handheld.

Snomobile can help healthcare professionals find and organise SNOMED CT, SNOMED RT and CTV3 codes - which in turn can improve and safeguard patient care. The application uses a variety of techniques to find, sort and retrieve codes, including a fast-find feature and history to make it easier to re-visit your most used SNOMED CT codes.

To coincide with the launch of Snomobile on Friday, all users of its web-based sister product - Snoflake - will be invited to enter a free prize draw. Prizes include a free copy of Snomobile and a 32GB iPod touch to run it on. Visit http://www.snoflake.co.uk/iPhone.htm for more details.
