)-- Connex Healthcare has announced dates for its Fall Healthcare Sector Meetings, which will be held in Chicago, September 19th - 21st. The Connex formula involves a highly interactive two-day series of meetings that bring together approximately 60 C-Level hospital executives to examine solutions to some of their most pressing needs. These focused peer groups discussions are designed to allow each institution to tap into and leverage the collective knowledge and experiences of the group to find actionable solutions and avoid costly mistakes. Each hospital executive will typically return to their facility with several implementable ideas and solutions that address some of their most pressing problems and objectives saving them considerable time and money.
Connex's most recent Sector Meetings in January hosted 62 executives from various hospital and health systems ranging in size from Shands Lake Shore Hospital (100 beds), to New York Presbyterian (2,242 beds).
“One of the key components of our model is partnering with the correct mix of relevant 'best of breed' solution providers,” said Benjamin Collins, president and CEO of Connex International. "This small number of solution providers are included in the process of needs-assessment and solution identification that our hospital clients engage in, culminating in discussions and direct meetings with our clients’ decision-makers, who have specific areas of need that relate to the solutions offered.”
These meetings are highly targeted and based upon mutual due diligence and documentation, thereby ensuring legitimate interest and resulting in a win-win as both parties save a great deal of time and money.
“Over the past several months, we’ve been looking for an emergency management system solution for the facility,” said Kathy Joyce, Chief Nursing Officer of Pampa Regional Medical Center. “Engaging in the Connex process helped me articulate our needs a bit better, and allowed me to find a strong strategic fit with a vendor in the space that we expect to hire in the short term. I was also able to understand first-hand from my peers how they are addressing issues in their facilities, which gave me unique and usable insight.”
Connex International provides hospitals and hospital systems with a unique solution to discover new ideas and benchmark their own decisions by accessing over 700 of their most sophisticated peers. To find out more, please visit www.theconnexgroup.com/healthcare_providers.
