Improved GP Omnibus Research Service Gives Faster Results

Insight into doctors’ views now provided in a fortnight.

Oxford, United Kingdom, March 17, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The opinions of 1,000 GPs can now be tracked in just two weeks thanks to improvements to the GP Omnibus research service from medeConnect Healthcare Insight, the market research division of Doctors.net.uk, the largest and most active network of UK medical professionals in the UK.

Since launching it in August 2009, the medeConnect team has reduced the survey delivery timescale from five to two weeks – cutting turnaround by more than half. In addition to being able to track GP opinion and attitude more quickly, there is no change to the extensive research base and ‘fee per question’ structure.

The online study surveys the attitudes of a highly representative sample of practising GPs across the country every month, providing regionally and nationally representative quantitative research that can be tailored fully to client needs.

Louise Shearer, head of research for medeConnect, said: “Our team has worked tirelessly to reduce the turnaround time of this valuable research without compromising its robustness or quality. The result is that we can now gauge and respond to GP attitude and opinion even more promptly with the benefit of no added cost.”

Covering all currently practising GMC registered physicians, the Doctors.net.uk network offers the most highly validated and segmented sample of doctors available for research in the UK. The GP Omnibus complements medeConnect’s other quantitative and qualitative online research services, which cover both primary and secondary care.

The next deadline for submission of questions is Friday 26th March. For more information please contact Will Parsons on 01235 828412 or will.parsons@medeconnect.net.
