Brentwood, TN, March 18, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Music therapy is one of many types of treatment that will be discussed at the Holistic Treatment Conference which Foundations Recovery Network, FRN, will host this April. The conference will offer in depth information on how treatments such as music therapy are not only statistically effective but are also backed by pure, scientific fact. Over 40 professionals from various fields within the holistic treatment community will offer keynotes or seminars about how their treatment methods work and how it can be combined with traditional medicine to offer patients the very best in rehabilitation.
Kenneth Blum is just one of the professionals who will present at the conference in April. Blum has spent over 20 years studying neuropsychopharmacology and genetics. In fact, he is credited with co-discovering the “alcoholic gene.” Further research has shown that music therapy directly targets this gene and greatly assists the recovery process.
FRN’s conference will take place at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV from April 28-30, 2010. We are approved for 18 hours of continuing education credit hours and are currently offering a 20 percent discount on registrations made in groups of three or more.
