Seeds of Change Unearthed with Fret Knot Radio Hour

Asheville, NC, March 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Another organic outcrop of the fertile grounds of North Carolina emerged from Asheville this month. Fret Knot Radio Hour is a totally free podcast and stage show that features unique storytelling, audio documentary, music and art reviews, and community updates.

According to Fret Knot's creator and host, Chris Weller, "Fret Knot raises awareness of global human needs by illustrating hyper-local examples in and around Asheville." The podcasts are recorded in Asheville with regional and national guests in the music, arts, and grassroots activist communities.

Fret Knot's live performances cover the same topics as the podcasts and staged in local community gathering houses such as bookshops. The stage shows are also recorded and archives are available at fretknotradiohour.org.

"If we can strike a chord with each and every listener at least once, plant a seed of change and connection to folks across the country or the world, then we've been successful," says Weller.
