Ho Tram Intensifies Green Campaign

Ho Tram Beach Resort & Spa launches its Plant a Tree Program allowing their guests to get involved in making their surroundings green.

Vung Tau, Vietnam, March 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Ho Tram Beach Resort & Spa has intensified its campaign for a green environment through planting trees.

The resort, which is located along the coastal road of Baria, Vung Tau Province in Vietnam has launched its Plant a Tree Program allowing their guests to plant trees within their 8-hectare compound during the weekend.

The green environment campaign is to augment Ho Tram Beach Resort’s eco-friendly focused operations. Ho Tram Beach Resort & Spa is the only resort in Ho Tram, Vung Tau, Province catering to the high end tourism market.

Mr. Allan Tuppil, Ho Tram Beach Resort general manager said planting trees can definitely have impact to the environment and the community, thus they will make sure that the trees planted should be taken care of.

“Trees provide beauty or shade. It helps improve air quality and conserve water,” Mr. Tuppil said.

Aside from that, Mr. Tuppil said guests often wish to stay long and the Plant A Tree Program is just a good response to that. He said naming the tree after them, made their memories live in Ho Tram.

“If they want to live forever in Vietnam, then plant a tree in Ho Tram,” Mr. Tuppil said, adding that the tree their guests planted will be named after them. It will be framed and will be displayed in a space around the tree which is visible to the public.

Ho Tram Beach Resort’s Plant a Tree Program is conducted only during the weekend depending on their guests’ interest.
