EPI Environmental Products Inc. to Represent Oxo-Biodegradable Plastics at the Association of Hellenic Plastics Industries (AHPI) March, 2010 Symposium

Athens, Greece, March 20, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Representatives of EPI Environmental Products Inc. ("EPI"), the pioneer and leader in oxo-biodegradable plastics (OBP), will be attending the AHPI's Symposium at the Greek Plastic Industry's Exhibition in Athens, Greece, March 19 - 22, 2010.

EPI chairman and chief executive Joseph Gho said this week: “EPI looks forward to the opportunities for information sharing that the AHPI Symposium presents. EPI’s team of scientists attending will include Andy Koutsandreas, P.Eng., the Technical Manager at EPI’s Vancouver office, Adelene Ong, Technical Executive Director at EPI’s Vancouver office and Professor Norman Billingham of the company’s International Scientific Advisory Board.”

EPI, with headquarters in Vancouver, Canada, pioneered oxo-biodegradable technology which enables the manufacture of environmentally responsible plastics that degrade after use. EPI’s Totally Degradable Plastic Additives (TDPA™) are incorporated in conventional plastics on standard manufacturing machines to make single use plastic products degradable, without affecting the quality of the product itself. Products made with TDPA™ can now be found in more than 50 countries. With a primary focus on waste management and single use plastic products, EPI aims to meet its customers’ requirements through excellence in innovation, responsiveness and global capability.
