Birmingham, AL, March 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Easter Sunday morning, April 4th, legendary R&B and gospel singer, Shirley Murdock will join the Faith Chapel Christian Center Theater and Dance Ministry and Chenaniah Choir for a spectacular Easter production. The performance takes place during the regular 10:00 a.m. worship service at The Word Dome located at 100 Lexington Street in Birmingham. The public is invited to join them for this special event.

Shirley Murdock was re-introduced into the Gospel arena when Bishop T.D. Jakes featured her on his 1999 Sacred Love Songs and The Storm Is Over projects and signed her to his Dexterity Sounds record label. Her latest Stellar Award and Dove nominated project entitled, SOULFOOD, includes the video for the single, I Love Me Better Than That.

According to Faith Chapel Senior Director of Fine Arts and UAB Professor, Dr. Henry Panion III, a glimpse of the songs would include an Easter medley containing “Oh Please Don’t Let Them Crucify Him,” “It is Finish,” and “Lord You Mean.” The production will also include a powerful presentation from the Theater and Dance Department and Chenaniah Choir.
