Can a Law Firm Solve Global Warming?

The Azam Law Firm helps save 2.5 million acres of rainforest in South America. Part of the Nature Conservancy’s Plant a Billion Trees campaign, their donations are saving an incredibly diverse ecosystem that will reduce carbon dioxide levels for years to come.

Orlando, FL, March 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- If we could solve global warming in court, many legal professionals would jump at the chance. Unfortunately, the fight against global warming is an issue larger than any court of law, but advocates of the environment such as the Azam Law Firm in Lake Mary, Florida, are taking a different strategy.

By supporting the Nature Conservancy’s campaign, Plant a Billion Trees, the professionals at the Azam Law Firm are taking steps toward repairing a devastated rainforest in Brazil. Attorney Michael Snytkin of the Azam Law Firm explains, “there are over 20 species of primates and 20,000 species of plants in the Atlantic Rainforest. The simple steps that we take in restoring their habitat greatly benefit everyone.”

In fact, the Nature Conservancy is working to restore 2.5 million acres of this rainforest in an effort of protecting the incredible biodiversity that is home to these plants and animals. This replanting effort will remove 10 million tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere every year.

Azam Law Firm is showing how everyone can take a step toward preserving the global climate. “The Plant a Billion Trees campaign is a great cause in which to be involved,” states Managing Partner Nishat Azam. “The professionals on our staff practice law with underlying beliefs in doing good for our clients and our environment. Supporting the Nature Conservancy was one of the easiest decisions I’ve made in business.”
