Tiffany A. Weber of MLT/Instructing Technologies Selected as Candidate for “Woman of the Year”

Marketing Director at MLT/Instructing Technologies, Tiffany Ann Weber, was recently selected as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s “Man & Woman of the Year” competition.

Waukesha, WI, March 23, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Wisconsin Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has selected MLT/Instructing Technologies’ Marketing Director, Tiffany Ann Weber, as a candidate for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year competition. Beginning on March 11, 2010 candidates will begin fundraising efforts to raise money for cancer research and patient services. The competition is 10 weeks long and ends with the Grand Finale Gala on May 20, 2010.

During the campaign every dollar raised for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society counts as one “vote.” The male and female candidates with the most “votes” will be awarded the title of 2010 Man & Woman of the Year at the Grand Finale Gala on May 20, 2010.

“It’s an honor to be asked to participate and have the opportunity to raise funds for an organization that does so much for cancer,” Tiffany Ann Weber, Marketing Director at MLT/Instructing Technologies, said. “When I was nominated for the competition I found out how many people in my life had been effected by Leukemia and Lymphoma, it was an obvious answer to say ‘yes’ to the nomination and help an organization who has helped so many.”

“Tiffany has really built a strong network of support both personally and professionally over her career – we’re very excited to support her in her efforts to raise fund.” Karen Kostrewa, CEO of MLT/Instructing Technologies, commented.

Ms. Weber has arranged several professional networking events to help raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, including a socially integrated business networking campaign called “10 Ways to Happy.” Ten local restaurants and pubs have been selected to compete in a socially driven campaign to decide where the best place to go after a long day of work is. To gather exposure to the pubs and restaurants, each will host a business networking event from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. during the campaign. Event tickets are $10 each, with all proceeds going to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. To participate, please visit https://10waystohappy.com.

Great Lakes Distillery will also be hosting a business networking event and distillery tour on May 12, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets to the event are $15 each and include light appetizers.
