Having taken casts of her own babies' feet, Rowena wanted to offer other parents the opportunity to capture a unique image of their child or baby; a snapshot in time, because all too quickly that moment has gone forever...
The casts are created by carefully taking an imprint of the child’s foot or hand, from which a detailed plaster cast is produced. This is then hand finished and presented according to your personal wishes.
It is this finishing that makes Little Hands and Feet really stand out from the crowd. Rowena has an excellent eye for aesthetics and her personal style turns these delightful plaster casts into works of art - truly treasured gifts and keepsakes.
Casts of new born babies' feet are of course exquisite but those of older children's hands and feet can be just as charming. Rowena has taken casts of 10 year olds! Some parents choose to have casts taken of their own hands to frame alongside their baby’s, others create a frieze of their entire family. Many customers return again and again as their family grows.
