Award-Winning San Antonio Artist and Developer Joins Digett

San Antonio-based artist, designer and developer Alex Garcia has joined Digett, a Boerne digital marketing firm, as its Senior Web Developer. Garcia brings 10 years of experience in graphic design and Web application development to the firm.

Boerne, TX, March 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- San Antonio-based artist, designer and developer Alex Garcia has joined Digett, a Boerne digital marketing firm, as its Senior Web Developer. Garcia, whose work in egg tempera painting has earned him national accolades, brings 10 years of experience in graphic design and Web application development to Digett's growing team of marketing professionals.

As Digett's Senior Web Developer, Garcia is responsible for directing the firm's development activities, designing, programming and deploying client Web sites and mentoring junior developers. His presence brings the firm's roster of full-time marketing and web professionals to seven.

Garcia comes to Digett following positions at KGBTexas and Gray Web Technology, where he was tasked with providing creative direction and developing custom Web sites and applications. Prior to moving to San Antonio, Garcia plied the multimedia trade and Web design and development in Pennsylvania, where he previously completed a bachelors of arts degree in painting.

As an artist, Garcia has exhibited his paintings in various national juried and invitational exhibits in New York, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Texas. In focusing on the egg tempera technique, he continues an artistic tradition that has existed for hundreds of years.
