Minto Continues Aggressive Growth; Announces Plans to Build in Prestigious Fish Hawk Ranch

Tampa, FL, January 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- To offer a new housing product to a market not being served, Minto Communities announces the purchase of 40 parcels in the Fish Hawk Ranch community in Lithia, Fla.

“When we looked at opportunities to continue our expansion in Tampa Bay, the available parcels within Fish Hawk Ranch meshed nicely with the type of product we want to build,” states Mike Belmont, senior vice president, Minto Communities.

While many Eastern Hillsborough County communities have large single family homes on the market, notes Belmont, the opportunity to bring a smaller yet stylish residence at a lower price point was appealing within Fish Hawk’s master planned community.

Located within Fish Hawk’s Garden District, which is walking distance to the Palmetto Club, Aquatic Club and Park Square, the 40 lots will be developed into a series of four-unit townhome residences, which is unique in the area.
Each unit will range in size from 1,300 to $1,700 sq. ft., feature modern designs and start in the $140s. Upgrades will also be offered.

“We are excited to bring our product to a community that has historically been a highly desired place to live,” states Belmont. “From first time home buyers to empty nesters to individuals wanting to live in a vibrant area, our units will offer the location, style and size they truly want in a home.”

Model homes will commence later in January and a sales center is expected to open in month.
