Houston, TX, March 30, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- George Fern Company was selected by Australian-based Exhibitions & Trade Fairs (ETF) to be the general service contractor for LNG17 Exhibition, part of the 17th International Conference and Exhibition on Liquefied Natural Gas taking place at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, April 16-19, 2013. The LNG event is the largest in the world dedicated to the liquefied natural gas industry, attracting more than 3,000 delegates and 200 exhibitors from over seven countries. 2013 will be the fourth time LNG has taken place in a US city since 1968, most recently Los Angeles in 1986. The American Gas Association is the Host Association for the event.
More than two-thirds of the 200 LNG exhibitors are international-based companies with complex exhibits. As a result they require extra attention and education for exhibiting in the US. To respond to their need, Fern put forth a comprehensive solution for servicing LNG’s exhibitors with a robust education program, high-touch service initiatives and a comprehensive plan for streamlined on-site processes. Fern also put forth a communication plan with ETF addressing international time zone variances. The dedicated assigned Fern team will start working immediately and be on board as part of ETF’s team for the upcoming LNG 16 event taking place next month April 18-21, 2010 in Oran, Algeria.
“Working with international exhibitors poses a complex set of parameters,” said LNG 17 Exhibition Director, Rodney Cox, from ETF. “What we need in an event services partner is a company that will go over and above to communicate and educate international exhibitors to make the experience seamless. Fern clearly has the expertise and offer a customized plan for addressing exhibitor solutions.”
“We’re excited to be working with ETF, the American Gas Association, and the industry’s diverse exhibitors to bring LNG 17 to Houston in 2013,” said Aaron Bludworth, Chief Operating Officer, George Fern Company. “We have the opportunity to put our expertise and experience to work to ensure international exhibitors have a good experience exhibiting in the US.”
