Anderson Valley Brewing Company Ready to Welcome Summer

Boonville, CA, April 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Anderson Valley Brewing Company, the “Solar Powered Brewery®”, is delighted to celebrate the approach of summer with the release of Summer Solstice Cerveza Crema.

Known for award winning, balanced beers, AVBC Summer Solstice is brewed in tribute to the longer days of summer and the solar rays that fire the brew kettles at Anderson Valley Brewing Company. In the peak of summer, more than 40% of the brewery’s power needs are obtained from the sun.

A unique take on a summer beer, the Cerveza Crema stands out on a hot day for it’s copper color and silken, creamy texture. Summer Solstice pours a brilliant copper that captures the sunlight. A clean malt base balances a hint of cascade hops smooth creaminess. Weighing in at 5.0% ABV, Summer Solstice is a lightly hopped, sessionable beer as satisfying as the day is long.

Summer Solstice will be available April 1st in draft, 12oz. bottles, and now in 12oz. cans – for all those great summer getaways where you can’t or won’t take bottles.

Anderson Valley Brewing Company is located in Boonville, CA, in scenic Mendocino County. AVBC opened the doors to its brew pub in late 1987. They carefully craft their world-class ales using only the finest ingredients premium malted and roasted grains, hops, yeast, and pristine Boonville water straight from their own aquifer. AVBC never heat pasteurizes or sterile filters their beers. AVBC has won over 90 awards for quality and distinction and is the first 18-hole disc golf course with a craft brewery attached.
