)-- The InterSports Network continues to expand its digital portfolio of world-class clients with the addition of Oscar “O-Diesel” Smith, who is a best-known as a personal trainer to the stars but also saves lives as a member of the prestigious NYPD Scuba Team. Smith’s web site (http://www.OfficialO-Diesel.com) recently launched on the IS Network, allowing the rest of the world to get to know one of the most unique individuals in the fitness world.
“Joining the InterSports Network is like being home with family,” Smith said. “And it’s always good to have positive people around you.”
“O-Diesel” is credited with training some of the world’s top supermodels along with three-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady among many others, but his work outside the gym also deserves major recognition. Smith counts becoming one of 30 members of the prestigious NYPD Scuba Team (out of 40,000 NYPD officers) as one of his greatest accomplishments.
“Somebody suggested it to me, and then I trained for it and was very happy when I made the team,” Smith said. “I consider that a huge accomplishment from a physical level.
“I stay in shape because I have to. My life depends on it.”
Smith’s training studio appropriately named “O-Diesel” is located in the Tribeca area of New York City, where models, celebrities and professional athletes have all gathered to take advantage of his physical training. He has used a combination of weight training, cardio, kick boxing, yoga and intense stretching to help his clients reach their full potential while giving them the personal attention they need. The invaluable relationships they have formed are made to last a lifetime.
“O-Diesel is who I am,” Smith said. “And my clients also become my friends.”
The online home of “O-Diesel” is now part of the growing community of InterSports, developed by CEO Lin Milano, whose roots are also in New York. Milano has built her other company Celebrity Loop into one of the top networks of celebrity websites in the world. She too has “trained” many celebrities and athletes, teaching them about the value of marketing themselves online.
“In a changing landscape of fitness, O-Diesel brings a new frame of mind that includes a path to well-being,” said Milano.
