Gentlemen, Start Your Grills! "Signature BUBBA Burger" Contest Open to All NASCAR Nationwide Series Drivers

Winning Burger Creation Will Earn BUBBA burger 250 Pre-Race Recognition & Lunch for His Entire Team

Richmond, VA, April 04, 2010 --(PR.com)-- There are few things more American than the Spring-time combination of NASCAR and grilling burgers. Richmond International Raceway and BUBBA burger are teaming up to showcase those two traditions with the “Signature BUBBA burger” contest open to all NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers. The driver who invents the tastiest signature creation will win a BUBBA burger lunch for his entire team and will be recognized during pre-race ceremonies prior to the BUBBA burger 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Richmond International Raceway on Friday night, April 30.

Here’s how the contest works: contestants begin by selecting their choice of BUBBA burgers, which includes: the Original, Reduced Fat, Certified Angus, Sweet Onion, Jalapeno and the brand new Turkey BUBBA burger. Next, they will choose any type of topping to create their “Signature BUBBA burger.” Whether it’s the traditional ketchup and mustard or something unique like…peanut butter and pickles or grape jelly and scrambled eggs; combinations are only limited by the participants’ imaginations.

Submitting creations early will ensure NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers’ inclusion on www.rir.com, where fans will vote to determine the most appealing burger. Drivers are also urged to use creativity and to submit narrations about their selection of specific flavor combinations and to provide photos of the cooking and creation of their signature burger.

Voting ends Monday, April 26. The top five vote-getters will be invited to participate in a final “Signature BUBBA burger” Challenge at Richmond International Raceway on April 30. The burgers will be showcased for a panel of judges to taste and to determine the winner. The champion burger and creator will be recognized during BUBBA burger 250 pre-race ceremonies and the driver’s team will win a BUBBA burger lunch at their race shop.
