Join the Team That’s Saving Lives

Sacramento, CA, April 08, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A marathon dedicated to the spirit of women in the beautiful city by the bay is just one of the exciting choices for the fall season offered by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training® (TNT) program.

With TNT, the world’s first and biggest charity sports training program, you get more of everything you need to change your life and the lives of those with cancer. With more than 20 years of experience, the program gives you personalized training with certified coaches to prepare for a marathon, half marathon, century cycle ride, triathlon or a hike adventure. TNT has helped more than 420,000 participants realize their dream of crossing the finish line since its inception in 1988. In that time, TNT participants have raised more than $1 billion to support LLS’s blood cancer research and patient services initiatives.

TNT recruitment is under way now for The Nike Women’s Marathon to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which will take place Oct. 17, 2010, on a spectacular marathon and half-marathon course with classic San Francisco views—Coit Tower, San Francisco Bay, Fisherman’s Wharf, Ghirardelli Square, the Golden Gate Bridge and much, much more.

Or you can choose The Big Kahuna Triathlon to Benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society near the historic Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, CA, this September. Participants can enjoy the dramatic courses, which are almost entirely coastal with breathtaking views of the rugged California coast, lighthouses and a dramatic finish at the main stage of the Beach Boardwalk.
