Wockhardt Foundation Collaborates with AmeriCares India for a Noble Cause on World Health Day

Mumbai, India, April 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A mega health check up camp was conducted by Wockhardt Foundation and AmeriCares India on 7th April 2010, ‘World Health Day’, in remote interiors of Kalyan, as an initiative by the leading healthcare NGOs to make cities healthier.

The camp kick started at 8.30 am, wherein a thorough medical examination for economically marginalized patients was done, through their team of medical professionals and free medicines were also provided.

The patients including grown–ups and children were also provided with nutritional supplements, i.e. Nutripot and Grow up, were given to patients suffering from malnutrition.

Thus ‘World Health Day 2010’ was celebrated in it’s true essence, by both the leading healthcare NGOs, thereby providing basic health care to the underserved masses of the society, and working towards the upliftment of poor, weak and needy multitudes in order to celebrate the spirit of humanity in its true sense.
