Earth Day 2010 at Waikiki Trade Center

CENTURY 21 All Islands participates for its second year.

Honolulu, HI, April 11, 2010 --(PR.com)-- For a second year in a row, the Waikiki Trade Center will be holding an Earth Day event promoting sustainability in homes and offices. And, for its second year, CENTURY 21 All Islands Waikiki office will be participating once again. This annual CB Richard Ellis, Inc. event grants tenants, vendors, and community members an opportunity to provide the public with materials, ideas and products that promote sustainability.

Earth Day 2010 will be held at the Waikiki Trade Center on April 22, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Save the date. The event is open (Free) to the public. Last year’s Earth Day event was the first of its kind in Honolulu and hugely successful in terms of community involvement and participation. This year, CENTURY 21 All Islands will be providing Green Home concept materials and promoting its eco-friendly Walking Tour, and Easter Seals’ Cartridges For Kids program.

“Here at C21 All Islands, we are big fans of Mother Earth. We only have this one planet that we live in and we all must do what we can to help sustain it”, said Marie Felix, Marketing Director of CENTURY 21 All Islands. “Last year, we got involved with Easter Seals’ Cartridges For Kids Program. People can drop-off their unwanted electronics, ink, and laser cartridges at any of our participating offices statewide. Some of our agents are also quite active in promoting and being green. For example, Bobbin Tabalno of our Waikele office recently ordered reusable grocery bags as gifts to give to his clients. And, we have people in the company who have earned their GREEN designations. NAR’s GREEN designation is the only environmental real estate designation addressing multiple specialties regarding Green Homes.”
