)-- Dr Manuel T. Banzon gave a successful seminar last week on chronic knee pain. The audience came away with exactly what they needed; now they know that if you have chronic knee pain, you have options! That was the message communicated by Dr. Banzon, a board-certified, fellowship-trained, sports medicine orthopedic surgeon at Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI), Freehold and Monroe townships, New Jersey. Dr. Banzon discussed the many options available for those with chronic knee pain at The Rehab Center located in Freehold, New Jersey, on April 8, 2010. Dr. Banzon also serves as orthopedic director of The Rehab Center of Wedgwood Gardens.
In his presentation, which was titled “Treatment Options for Chronic Knee Pain,” AOSMI’s Dr. Banzon discussed the various treatment options and the latest innovations for lessening or eliminating knee pain. A question and answer session followed Dr. Banzon’s talk. Many questions were a follow up to the material presented and allowed the audience to get involved with their own specific issues.
“Many of the people in attendance today finally understand that there are less invasive ways to treat their conditions. I think most walked away feeling better about their treatment options,” explained AOSMI’s Dr. Banzon. “Assisting people through education is an important first step in orthopedic care. Anyone experiencing knee pain, from an injury or arthritis has options to become pain free."
