Skull Coast's "Maelstrom IPA" Will be Featured at the South Carolina Strawberry Festival

Fort Mill, SC, April 12, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Skull Coast Ale Company’s “Maelstrom IPA” has been selected as one of the featured beers for the South Carolina Strawberry Festival.

The South Carolina Strawberry Festival kicks off on Thursday, April 29, 2010, with the South Carolina Strawberry Festival Beauty Pageant. When the Festival moves outdoors to Walter Y. Elisha Park in Fort Mill over the weekend, Skull Coast’s Maelstrom IPA will be available while visitors listen to live music, watch various races and fireworks, and eat local foods and all things strawberry.

Skull Coast’s Chief Drinking Officer, David Fox, said “It’s an honor and pleasure to have Maelstrom IPA be selected as a featured brew for the South Carolina Strawberry Festival, especially considering all fine beers out there that they had to choose from. We’re extremely proud and will do our best to live up to the honor the Festival has bestowed on our company.”

Maelstrom IPA only uses the finest specialty malts available on the market to create the perfect India Pale Ale with a 7% ABV, and a combination of seven (7) compatible Northwest hops to achieve an astounding 85 IBUs.

The South Carolina Strawberry Festival runs between April 29th and May 2nd, 2010. Additional information about events, vendors and family activities can be found at the South Carolina Strawberry Festival website.
