ABC11 Eyewitness News Sponsors 16th Annual Angels Among Us 5K Walk/Run

Durham, NC, April 14, 2010 --(PR.com)-- ABC11 Eyewitness News (www.abc11.com) has announced that the station will serve as sponsor for the 2010 Angels Among Us 5K and Family Fun Walk. The event will be held on Saturday, April 24 at Duke Campus on Erwin Road. Event proceeds will support the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University Medical Center, which is one of the leading pediatric and adult neuro-oncology programs in the world—leading the way in comprehensive care with a unique combination of research breakthroughs, clinical trials and the newest therapies. The event is expected to host 3,500 participants from around the country. In 2009, the event raised more than $1.4 million for the Tisch Brain Tumor Center.
