Sonitrol Pacific Security Detects Suspect in Unlocked Building

Everett, WA, April 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Despite being accidentally left unlocked, an Everett business was not left unprotected and a Sonitrol Pacific detection led to the arrest of one suspected intruder April 15.

Just after one o’clock in the morning, Operator Jessica Culver received a system activation from one wing of the Compass Health Bailey Building and sent police.

Officers located a man with outstanding arrests warrants wandering inside the facility and took him into custody. Police let Culver know the man entered through an unlocked door.

Culver contacted a representative from Compass Health so they could lock up the building. This detection and arrest brought great relief to those working at the business.

"The timing couldn’t have been more perfect as the next day we were scheduled for our Grand Opening party with the Mayor in attendance," said Andrew Machin, Health Administrator fro Molina Healthcare. "This could have spelled disaster if the intruder had had an opportunity to do real damage! He was caught by police, before any property damage was done and before he could steal anything, saving us the down-time of dealing with the aftermath of a theft. And he also had outstanding warrants!"
