David Strumeier Sr. Business Consultant of SIWS Announces Waste Gasification Plant

It’s a perfect storm of need and opportunity.

Morganville, NJ, April 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Waste-to-energy gasification works by heating trash-or any carbon-based material-in a closed chamber to extract what is called “syngas,” a clean-burning mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide that can be used to generate power.

"Now is the time to scale up waste gasification technology. We’ve got high energy prices, the desire to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and increased awareness of the detrimental effects of landfilling,” said David Strumeier, Sr. Business Consultant at SIWS.

SIWS has contracted with IET, 380 B Whirlaway Drive Suite #7 Danville Kentucky 40422 to build its state of the art waste gasification plant on site. The IET plant will be capable of processing 800 tons per day of hazardous and industrial waste. This plant would process all of the incoming waste and begin to mine the existing landfill for waste.

Recycling is the backbone of any waste management strategy. Preventing waste and expanding reuse, recycling, and composting programs-that is, aiming for zero waste- is one of the fastest, cheapest, and most effective strategies available for combating climate change.
