CSIA Opens Apex Award’ Nominations

CSIA today announces nominations are open for their 10th annual Apex Awards.

Denver, CO, April 21, 2010 --(PR.com)-- CSIA, Colorado’s Technology Association, today announced nominations are now open for their 10th annual Apex Awards. Nominations are open to the entire technology community in Colorado and the deadline for entries is May 7, 2010. Winners will be announced the evening of June 17, 2010 at their awards program.

The Apex Awards recognizes both successful technology companies and professionals. There are five categories for companies and five categories for individuals. Categories include:

Corporate Categories
•Titan of Technology
•Technology Company of the Year
•Technology Product of the Year
•Technology Services of the Year
•Rookie of the Year

Individual Categories
•Bob Newman Lifetime Achievement
•Technology Executive of the Year
•Technology Entrepreneur of the Year
•Top Tech Teacher
•CSIA Champion of the Year

This year, CSIA will celebrate nominees and winners as well as a ten-year history of technology in Colorado. The organization’s Steering Committee is chaired by Keith Berets, Partner, Cooley Godward Kronish; Cody Daniels, Partner, Advisory Practice, KPMG; Andrea Young, CIO and VP of Development, BI Incorporated.

“Apex is the community’s annual event to celebrate the great success of the technology industry, and a way for the community to pause on one night and enjoy the talent, innovation and intelligence of this industry,” said Su Hawk, president, CSIA. “We are especially excited because this is the 10th year of our awards, and so much innovation has transpired over the decade,” she added.
