Lennar Donates $200,000 to Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium

Lennar recently presented a check to the City of Myrtle Beach for the rehabilitation of the Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium.

Myrtle Beach, SC, April 22, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The Coastal Carolina Division of Lennar recently presented a $200,000 check to the City of Myrtle Beach for the rehabilitation of the Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium. Lennar’s donation is the first part of their $1 million total contribution.

“It is an honor to have played a major role in the rehabilitation of the Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium,” said Robert Hilliard, president of Lennar’s Coastal Carolina Division. “The gym is an impressive state- of-the-art recreation center and is truly a benefit to the entire community.”

According to Mayor John Rhodes, Lennar’s contribution helped make the expansion of Crabtree Memorial Gymnasium a reality.

“We greatly appreciate Lennar’s financial participation in the Crabtree Gym project,” said Mayor Rhodes. “This is a prime example of good corporate citizenship by the private sector.”
