The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms applauds Laurie N. Robinson for driving diversity and encouraging corporations to open their preferred provider lists to MWBE law firms.
New York, NY, April 25, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF) lauds Laurie N. Robinson, Assistant General Counsel of CBS Corp. and Founder and CEO of Corporate Counsel Women of Color, for driving diversity and reminding corporations, large and small not to overlook minority and women-owned law firms.
With the current stance of the economy, many corporations have reduced the number of firms on their preferred provider lists, leaving minority and women-owned law firms out of the equation. Robinson’s article “Losing Out”, printed in the February 2010, edition of Inside Counsel encourages corporations to review their current preferred provider lists and challenges corporations to “go back to the drawing board and freshen up your list”.
