Atrion CEO and CTO to Speak at PSA®-TEC Security Industry Event

CEO, Tim Hebert, and CTO, Chris Poe, will present on Becoming a 21st Century Leader and the Always On Imperative.

Warwick, RI, May 05, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Atrion Networking Corporation, a leading provider of Information Technology and Managed Services, today announces its CEO, Tim Hebert, and CTO, Chris Poe, will be presenting at the 2010 PSA®-TEC event on May 24-28, 2010 in Rosemont, IL. PSA®-TEC is an annual training and networking event for the security industry, with a primary focus on security systems design, installation and integration.

In his “Finding Success and Becoming a 21st Century Leader” session, Tim will explore the five practices of exemplary leadership and how they can be applied to professionals of every career level and discipline. The workshop will help participants bring positive change to their organization through self reflection as well as inspiring, enabling and recognizing others.

In the session, “IT Support: The Always On Imperative,” Chris will take a look at the evolving, “Always On” role of IT and how it has become a integrated aspect of core business process. The session will teach participants how to leverage people, process and managed services to help meet the Always On Imperative and ensure key business technologies are available whenever and wherever they are needed.

“IT is no longer just an accelerator of business, it has become such a critical piece of the foundation of it that the business simply could not function if IT failed,” said Chris. “The most successful companies have shifted their mindsets to understand and build their technology infrastructures with an understanding of the business’ goals and from a business-impact perspective. Atrion has developed its Always On support approach as a framework to help organizations to shift their perspective and leverage IT to garner maximum business value. We are excited and eager to share our Always On approach to IT support with our peers and business leaders at PSA®-TEC in Illinois.”

“Atrion is proud to once again be a part of PSA®-TEC,” said Tim. “At PSA®-TEC, we have consistently taken away key education points and built relationships that have each helped us to strengthen our own organization and deliver better services to our clients. This year, I am proud to return the favor to the PSA®-TEC community by sharing some of the leadership practices that we not only follow here at Atrion, but that I also attribute as a significant factor in our growth and success.”

Both Tim and Chris have become widely-recognized industry speakers in the areas of technology as well as professional and organizational growth. Together they have presented for organizations including Nimsoft, Cisco, Panduit, Blue Coat, Banco do Brasil, 1nService and Tech Collective.
