Proceeds from Movie Night with Italian Job and Scam at Grand Miramar to be Donated to Charity

The weekly movie night, beginning with The Italian Job (1969) and Scam at Grand Miramar will donate all proceeds to local charity.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, May 06, 2010 --(PR.com)-- The all-inclusive resort Grand Miramar Resort and Spa has announced today that all proceeds from the weekly movie night will be donated to a different local charity each week. Beginning May 5, 2010 Grand Miramar will show movies under the palapa on the pool level.

Members and their families are invited to the inaugural showing of movies at Grand Miramar with Scam and The Italian Job (1969). A light menu with table-service will be available, and complimentary popcorn will be provided. All proceeds from food and drink sales will be donated to local charity.

Christopher Walkin and The Soprano's Lorraine Bracco star in Scam, set in the tropical backdrops of Miami and Jamaica.

Michael Cain and Benny hill star in the original The Italian Job.

Both Scam and The Italian Job follow the fast-paced inside perspective of robberies. The tropical setting of Scam gives the movie a parallel to Puerto Vallarta's natural beauty.

Movies are shown under the poolside palapa making the event rain-or-shine. Scam will begin at 8:00 p.m.
